For everyone, we will be out of town for the next 11 days (September 29th – October 8th). We are going camping with the Fabulous Lyons and Kaisers in Big Bear, CA. We then will be helping a 9-month pregnant Amelia with her wedding on October 6th. We will be back October 8th.
Email us any questions! Rocko + Bella will be holding down the fort at the brand new home we have yet to unpack!

So we have been thinking that we want you, as readers of our blog, to give more into discussion. So we are going to make a post every week about something real. Something important. Something to have an opinion on. We are asking you to give your thoughts in the comment section below. Nothing will be edited (unless rude, vulgar or obscene).

It is written to make us all feel bad that this individual worked for years to save this money only to have the evil US government take it from him. Here is the reality without the CNN Spin: The guy said he felt like he was being treated like a criminal. News flash: He is! He is here illegally and last time I checked (and I actually did check) that is a violation of the law. I'm sorry that he did not know about our other laws regarding declaring cash but I live here legally and if I did the same thing I would likely be typing this message from inside a cell. I'm sorry, I'm a compassionate person, but I have little to zero sympathy for the plight of illegal immigrants. I prefer to go by the motto "Judge not, least ye be judged".... I really came to see things from a different perspective. I really have a ton of respect and love for those who work hard and don't have a hundredth of what we do. Let alone the possibility. Engagement Session
Surprise, AZ
I was so excited to be able to go out and shoot the engagement session for Jovon and John. We used to live in Surprise 3 years ago, and it was nice to go back and visit. It has changed a ton! But Jovon and John were able to show me some great locations and I will for sure be going back. There were endless possibilities at these places. I was hoping the sun would stay up longer. But it was a perfect day and not hot at all!
Thanks guys for being so patient with me! I am so amazed at how easy it was to shoot with you two! Can’t wait for the wedding in November!
p.s. We’ll for sure be playing darts, watching NFL + UFC, and hanging out soon!
I took this last photo because I thought it was pretty meaningful to me. Nobody can see or tell, but Jovon and John are both deaf. Which means, it should be really hard to communicate. But we were able to communicate the new technology way. Texting and emailing really has helped us throughout the whole process of getting to know each other. I am so excited for their wedding!!!

Trash the Dress
Fullerton, CA
We had one of our Trash the Dress sessions fall through, but we were lucky enough to have Tyler satisfy our urge to shoot. We decided to shoot early morning before Malia and Frankie’s Wedding. It was so much fun! We even were able to finally play around with external,off-camera flash. It was so much fun!

Engagement Session
Visalia, CA (and surrounding areas)
We had our last session of the weekend in Visalia, CA with Megan and Gregory. It was so nice to get out of the areas we’ve shot in before and play up in Central California. We actually went 3 hrs. north of Los Angeles and into the cattle and farmland. It was a great little trip. We were so lucky to be able to shoot on a real dairy and in some smaller towns. Megan + Gregory were perfect! So cute together and totally friendly.
Thanks guys for the amazing session. We can’t wait to come back and visit!
We had a busy “Sunny California” weekend. We had scheduled a Wedding, two Trash the Dresses, an engagement session, and our first bridal boudoir! More Pics Coming!

Wedding
Marvimon House and Chinatown – LA, CA
We were so lucky to of been a part of Malia and Frankie’s Wedding. We had a really great and amazing friend, Carrie Cook from Urban Baby, allow us to help her for the beginning of the wedding day and then we took over from the ceremony on. Thanks Carrie!!! It was just great to be able to shoot alongside and around Carrie.
We began the day with Matt at the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and Angie at the Marvimon House. Frankie and his guys were great! Malia was so much fun while she got ready!
After they got ready, Carrie took us to take photos of them before the Ceremony in Chinatown! It was an honest blast. We found some amazing places, and even an alleyway with huge undies hanging! One of the best alleyways I have ever seen!!!
The ceremony was at an amazing artsy home. It was so awesome and special! We then partied all night with the amazing group!

Tempe Town Lake
On our Labor Day, we had a great time with Wendy and Travis! We had a great time shoting their engagement session, even though we wished we had more time with them! The sun went down rather quickly, but we were happy with the results!
