I met Josh a pretty long time ago. Josh was just getting into photography and randomly sent me a message to meet up sometime for lunch. I rarely ever say no to food and meeting new people. Since that day, I gotta admit Josh has become one of my best friends. He has become such a great photographer in a small amount of time. He even has a million times better photo gear than me. I love bouncing ideas with him and hearing his latest gear find. I just wish we lived closer because he is one of the nicest guys ever. :)
I actually shot these photos back in December of 2010 and the Snyder family has welcomed a new little one. I also tried my 1st ever “family video” captured on the Canon 5D2. Well I was hoping to post both of them, but I have yet found any time to put into the video. But someday it will make its debut. Until then, here are some photos. :)

Gina Meola: Loooooove these!! Joanna looks gorgeous!! Josh is ok. ;) And Tessa is just the cutest ever. Awesome job!! (25/07/11, 04:05)
Josh: Love em Matt :) (25/07/11, 04:07)
Emily Heizer, Photography with Flair: The cotton is SO BEAUTIFUL! I love it!!! (25/07/11, 04:57)
Spencer Morris: beautiful job (26/07/11, 08:15)
ajira: Absolutely marvelous. Love Tessa's expressions in her parents' arms! (27/07/11, 05:47)
Christine C.: That little girl's face kills me! (28/07/11, 06:18)
alyda: Oh I just love this session so much!!! Gahhhh (30/07/11, 03:37)
Jason Williams: Love this you guys. SO GOOD...literally makes me feel alive. :) Thanks for sharing! (30/07/11, 03:14)

Amber Hailey: I LOVE LOVE the top one. It is perfect for the bride who wants to incorporate her love of nature and earth into her wedding. Very unique! (09/07/11, 07:24)
Breanne: The second one is so romantic - who wouldn't love that for a garden wedding?? (09/07/11, 07:37)
Megan: I love the last tiara piece because it is feminine, yet rustic, and could be worn formally or casually. (09/07/11, 07:40)

Christina Pierce: I love the 3rd one! I have ringlets to show it off. (Mine are brown though) I love the antique feel to it with the detail she's done! (09/07/11, 08:54)
Faith: the third one is beautiful! i'd love to pair it with some red lips a la the model! (09/07/11, 09:02)

Debi: Ahh these are gorgeous! I love them all but the third is my favorite. The color scheme is beautiful and I love that style of headbands. <3 (09/07/11, 09:14)
Jamie: I'm in the love with the first one... it's the sort of thing that would adorn the head of a late summer goddess. (09/07/11, 09:22)
Alexis: The first one is my fav! (09/07/11, 09:37)
Sandryte: The 2nd one is the most beautiful to me! I love this pastel vintage look. Congratulations to a winner :) (09/07/11, 10:01)
Jessica: Between the pale blush of the petals, touch of faint green, and delicate vines, the second head piece is absolutely adorable. This pink blossom is divine and whimsical. The perfect accessory to add to the already romantic atmosphere of this photograph. (09/07/11, 10:10)
Brittany Bailey: I love the Cricket love song comb! So pretty! (09/07/11, 10:11)
Fei: I love the pink flower head piece the most. It is gorgeous and it fits the theme and color of my wedding perfectly. I handmade all the flowers in pink crepe and tissue paper, and that pink head piece would a be perfect fit. (09/07/11, 10:36)
Beth: I love them all, but after careful deliberation, I think the third one/headband is my favourite. I love the tiny little details and I think they make it pop. It's so adorable and the model's hair make it angelic! <3 (09/07/11, 11:02)
Lauren Whaley: I love the last one because it speaks to my inner rugged princess! We're having a "sustainable" wedding, where everything is handmade, recycled, reused, and I think this piece would go beautifully with our theme. Thank you! (09/07/11, 11:06)
rog: I like the third one...in bed ; ) rog was here (09/07/11, 11:37)

bailey: I absolutely love the first one. 1. its vintage and unique looking. 2. it would make a good prop for shooting portraits. 3. I, myself would probably want to wear it everyday! Its beautiful! (09/07/11, 12:13)
Kim in Vacaville: I love the third one. It would look gorgeous in my daughter's hair. (09/07/11, 12:18)
Lareema: How gorgeous are these headpieces? I really love the second image of the pink flower the best. I adore the whimsical nostalgic look of it. I think it would look gorgeous in my hair on my wedding day, and any day thereafter. (09/07/11, 12:18)
Lauren: I love them all, it's so hard to choose, but I think the one with the wheat stands out. It's quite unique! And it also would be beautiful for a summer wedding. A bride could easily play off the wheat theme and incorporate it into other decorative elements like place cards and center pieces. Plus, I like the idea of wheat as life-giving; a crop that has provided food for centuries to sustain us physically, like love sustains us emotionally <3 (09/07/11, 12:32)

Elizabeth B: I love the pink flower, goodness its gorgeous and would be the perfect extra hint of soft color to a wedding dress. Allows for a simple and not too huge of a change on your wedding day. :) (09/07/11, 02:39)
Jessica: I love the first one. It's so pretty! (09/07/11, 03:33)
Kara Anne: I am absolutely in love with the 2nd one. It is simple and timeless yet adds a flirtatious touch to its English Garden feel. It could be the finishing touch on your Big Day or the perfect accessory with your favorite summer dress. (09/07/11, 04:13)

Shannon: At work, some of my co-workers call me Lily... and one of the reasons is because I'm almost always wearing flowers in my hair. The 2nd one (is it the "Among the Wildflowers" design?) would be the crowning glory in my collection! I'm totally swooning over that piece! (10/07/11, 01:52)
Emily: I love the second one! It's gorgeous and timeless. (10/07/11, 06:17)

Ashley Buchanan: I absolutely adore the second one (#2)! I just love the delicate pink tones in the headpiece as well as the realistic texture! (10/07/11, 01:38)

Karen + Kyle’s Day After Session
02.28.2011 | Day After Session | 24 comments
We weren’t able to shoot an engagement session with Karen & Kyle, as he has been living, stationed, and serving our country away. So they opted for a Day After Session, which is one of our favorite sessions. We are able to take the couple anywhere and shoot some portraits that they may not be able to get. We ended up driving up into a beautiful snow storm in Flagstaff, AZ. I mean, it was dumping snow and we were having such a great time! They were also such troopers and so freaking awesome to spend some time in a snowstorm. :)
This Wedding, the Day After Session, and Radtastic Photobooth will all be featured on Style Me Pretty today. :)

As a boy who grew up in a small town, I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I would make it to the smallest state in the US: Rhode Island. 2010 has brought us to tons of new places and we were honestly humbled & grateful that we were given so many great opportunities. We really loved everything about this couple and their wedding will be shared soon. Their families were top-notch and made us feel so welcomed. :) Megan has an amazing sense of style. She is one of the more sought after vintage couture collectors. Here is her website: www.pinkclouds.com.
On this session, we discovered Newport, RI.

I met this family and fell in love instantly! Kathleen is a photographer, too, and she just sent her hubby off to help fight the war.
They wanted these photos before he left and I felt so honored. :)
So on this 9/11 anniversary of the tragedy, please remember the troops who are fighting for our freedom. They are the real heroes!!! :) Also, giant props and love go out to all the wives who send off their hubby’s to fight for us. They are in our prayers and I think they are heros and incredible women.
